Kitchen cabinet painter Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire
A enquiry came through my website from a concerned client about the issues with her kitchen. She kindly sent a few images which I was able to quote from.
On close inspection, the kitchen had been painted well, but the product had failed in certain areas. All of this is easily rectified with the correct tools and equipment.
The image above, although not great, shows the degradation of the paint film on the plinth. The problem came about because the underside of the plinth was raw wood. This allowed water to soak into the wood and break down the paint surface.
When kitchens like these are painted. I remove as much as possible to complete in my workshop. This allows for minimal disruption and the kitchen can still be functional.
The colour agreed was similar to the existing colour. I used Tikkurila furniture products for priming and finishing. These are products that I have used for many years.
When all the doors were completed, 4 site visits followed to complete the frames and decor panels. Kitchen cabinet painter Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire

Several adjustments were made to the island drawers, this was simply to stop the bottom edge catching on the frame. This can often happen when the loaded weight can lower the drawer setting. An easy fix when you know how to do it!
Overall, a very satisfying project to complete in this beautiful house in Beaconsfield.
